The 44th UN/CEFACT Forum will take place from 24 to 28 November 2025 in Dakar (Saly), Senegal, to advance work on projects supporting priorities areas for the 2025-2026 UN/CEFACT program of work:
- Foster sustainable, transparent, and resilient value chains
- Enhance digital connectivity for climate-smart trade and transport corridors
- Advance implementation of international legal instruments
- Build trade-actor capacity through technical cooperation and outreach
Held twice each year, UN/CEFACT Forums, are the prime opportunity for the expert’s community to share knowledge and experience for sustainable and digital trade facilitation. The Forum will feature keynote speeches, interactive sessions, panel discussions, and working meetings designed to share insights and practical experiences across all aspects of trade facilitation. It will emphasize reinvigorating partnerships, demonstrating the impact and relevance of key UN/CEFACT instruments, and advancing substantive deliverables to sustain digital trade, sustainable development and global economic resilience.
