BylawsThe Trade and Compliance Institute for Trade Facilitation, Electronic Business, and Sustainability (TCI) is a legal entity constituted under private law, established as a non-profit organization with organizational, philanthropic, welfare, promotional, cultural, and educational character, devoid of political or partisan aims. Its purpose is to serve all who seek its assistance, irrespective of social class, nationality, gender, colour, or religious belief. TCI is dedicated to promoting Trade Facilitation, developing Standards for Electronic Commerce, Harmonization of the law of international trade, fostering Economic Integration among countries and public and private institutions, and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
 
TCI initiatives led by the Regional Rapporteur will always be carried out under the supervision of the UN/CEFACT Bureau, Heads of Delegation to UN/CEFACT from the region, the UNECE Secretariat and other regional commissions of the United Nations.

Our diverse range of activities includes advocating for the adoption of Global Trade Standards, providing advisory on international trade matters, and conducting research to deepen understanding of Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business standards. Through workshops, seminars, and publications, we strive to disseminate knowledge and best practices, empowering businesses to navigate complex global markets effectively.
