Liaisons

The Trade and compliance Institute for Trade Facilitation, Electronic Business and Sustainability, through its Chair, shall: (1) Promote UN/CEFACT’s interests and activities among governments, intergovernmental organizations, relevant trade associations and business and trade facilitation organizations, with the assistance of the UNECE secretariat, which is responsible for official communications; (2) Encourage the participation of experts in UN/CEFACT’s work programme and stimulate the implementation of UN/CEFACT’s standards, recommendations and other deliverables; and (3) Coordinate UN/CEFACT’s activities in the region.

The members of the Trade and compliance Institute are part of the Electronic Certification Advisory Committee (ECAC).

Members of the Trade and Compliance Institute contribute to the WCO Smart Customs Project.

Members of the Trade and Compliance Institute participate in the monthly WBG-CSO meetings.

Members of the Trade and Compliance Institute participate in the ICC Digital Standards Initiative.

Members of the Trade and Compliance Institute published articles in WCO News Magazine.
