Uzbekistan provided a status update on ongoing technical cooperation, including the National Trade Facilitation Roadmap aimed at advancing the country’s trade facilitation reforms, enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and deeper integration into the global economy.
Aligned with Uzbekistan's WTO accession process, the Roadmap delivered with UNECE support, highlights the country’s commitment to ambitious reforms, positioning Uzbekistan as a strategic trade hub in Central Asia.
This is part of UNECE’s broader cooperation package, including:
📊 Study on Regulatory and Procedural Barriers to Trade, covering both Trade Facilitation and Technical Barriers to Trade
🌱 Technical assistance focused on ESG traceability in the cotton and textile industry
💡 Support for financing/infrastructure (PPP) and innovation initiatives
