CALL FOR PARTICIPATION - Toolbox for Enhancing Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation along Transit Trade and Transport Corridors.

UN/CEFACT is pleased to launch a call for participation for the project Toolbox for Enhancing Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation along Transit Trade and Transport Corridors. The purpose of this project is to develop policy recommendations that assist UN Member States in enhancing digital and sustainable trade facilitation along transit corridors. The first phase will focus on gathering insights into the persistent challenges and inefficiencies in soft trade infrastructure that hinder seamless transit procedures and data exchange along corridors, particularly impacting trade competitiveness for landlocked developing countries. It will also develop implementation guidelines for the UN/CEFACT Package of Standards for Data Exchange, which supports the digital transformation of cross-border trade which will be tested in a pilot (a real-world scenario), ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.
